Research Support Facilities UBB
The Mass Spectrometry unit is part of the Research Support Facilities at the University of Vienna Biology Building (UBB), and it is a university based MS research service. The current instrument setups are equipped with online separation techniques, coupled with high-resolution mass spectrometry, which enables qualitative and quantitative analysis of diverse (complex) analytes, including proteomic applications.
Policy
We follow a first come, first served policy. Once initial contact has been made, please fill out and return the sample submission form to us. We will arrange the agreement for authorship for publications and measurement fees in advance.

Instruments
The Online-Reverse-Phase (RP)-Liquid-Chromatography (Thermo Scientific Ultimate 3000) is coupled with a benchtop-Quadrupole Orbitrap (Thermo Scientific Q-Exactive Plus).
The newly acquired instruments include the online RP-Liquid Chromatography system (Thermo Scientific Vanquish Neo), interfaced with FAIMS (High-field asymmetric-waveform ion mobility spectrometry) Technology and the Orbitrap Astral instrument (Thermo Scientific).
