The virtual event will take place on April 20, 2023. Didone (Core Facility KLF for Behavior and Cognition) will explore how wild birds build friendships and partnerships and how these interactions can reduce stress. The talk will be held within the program Exploring by the Seat of Your Pants, a digital education non-profit initiative that seeks to “inspire the next generation of scientists and explorers”. To this end, they invite scientists, explorers and adventures to give virtual lectures or to even take their audience along on virtual field trips. Since their beginning in 2015 Exploring by the Seat of Your Pants has hosted more then 4000 live-events. Moreover, these events are free for children everywhere.

Didone is a dedicated champion of citizen science and always on the lookout for new ways to include younger students and school classes into scientific research.
